Bomb Timer
A cartoon countdown with a burning fuse and a tick that speeds up as time runs out. It is a game prop: use it for pass-the-parcel style games, quiz rounds and beat-the-clock challenges.
How to use it
- Set the time with the steppers or a preset.
- Switch off “Show the time” if you want players to judge by the fuse and the ticking alone.
- Press Start. The fuse burns down and the ticking doubles in the last ten seconds.
- At zero you get a cartoon “boom”. Press Reset to play again.
Ideas for using it
Quiz rounds: answer before the fuse runs out. Tidy-up races for kids. Pass an object around a circle while the fuse burns. Escape-room style puzzles at home, with the timer full screen on a TV.
It is deliberately cartoonish — a round black ball with a fuse, like the ones in old animated films — and the sound at the end is a comic pop, not a realistic effect. If a calmer countdown suits your group better, the classroom timer and the plain timer do the same job.
