Everyday Timers
Small routines that go better with a clock: a nap that ends on time, a break you actually take, a load of washing you do not forget.
Reminders that repeat by themselves
Several of these timers are loops rather than single countdowns. The 20-20-20 timer rings every 20 minutes for a 20-second look into the distance, then starts the next 20 minutes on its own. The sit-stand timer cycles through sitting, standing and moving all morning. You start them once.
The others are plain countdowns with the usual choices one tap away: a 20-minute nap, a five-minute shower, a wash cycle. The long ones, such as a 16-hour fast, keep counting if you close the page, because the end time is saved on your device.
Pages about sleep, cold water, sauna and fasting give general information only. They are not medical advice, and they say where a doctor’s opinion matters.
Questions people ask
Will a long timer survive closing the browser?
Yes. The end time is saved on your device, so when you open the page again it shows the right time left. A closed page cannot sound the alarm, though, so for anything you must not miss, keep the tab open or set a phone alarm as well.
Can I get a notification instead of a sound?
Turn on “Notify me” in the timer settings and allow notifications when the browser asks. You then get a system notification when the timer ends, even if the tab is in the background.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for. Settings and history are kept in your browser.
