Game Timers
Put the clock where everyone can see it. Turn timers, question countdowns and a big one-minute clock for party games.
Replacing the sand timer
Most party games ship with a small sand timer that nobody can see from the other end of the table and that somebody always forgets to watch. A timer on a phone or TV fixes both: big digits, and a sound at the end that settles arguments.
The board-game timer covers the common lengths, from 30-second rounds to three-minute word games, and can restart itself for the next player. The trivia timer does the same for quiz questions. The poker timer moves through blind levels on its own and shows the next level before it arrives.
For two players who each have their own clock, as in chess or tournament Scrabble, use the chess clock instead.
Questions people ask
Can I cast the timer to a TV?
Yes. Open the page on a laptop or phone, press the full-screen button and mirror the screen to the TV the way you normally do. The digits scale to fill the display.
Is there a timer that restarts for each player?
Yes. On the board-game timer and the turn-taking timer, switch on Repeat: when a turn ends the alarm sounds once and the next turn starts immediately.
Can I set a length that is not on the list?
Yes. The chips are shortcuts. Use the minute and second steppers under them to set any turn length, then choose Save timer to keep it for next game night.
